Just Rock Ipswich is an registed car club, which entitles our active member's vehicles to be eligible for classic registration and classic insurance at a considerable saving.

As a car club we have many outings a year including cruises, observation runs, parades and displays.

Something to look forward to is our BACK TO '63. This event is held annually on the last Sunday in July and is a major event for JRI and for the Ipswich Community. It is a Car Show and Shine with a diffrerence. There is normally around 40 trophies on offer including a number of fun categories, e.g. 'best musical horn and cutest fox tail '. Dancers are well catered for with a live r'n'r band as well as a dance floor. Seating is also provided. There is also a number of memorabilia, clothing and shoe stalls. In 2003, we added a car Swap Meet to the program and this proved very successful. Held at the Ipswich Show Grounds you can visit the normal Sunday Ipswich Markets as well. This is a great way to spend a Sunday and it allows JRI to put our club in front of the general public at a FREE club and community event and hopefully we will attract some new members as well.

On all our cruises and observation runs members with modern (plastic) cars are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Car cruises run regularly, at least every second month, but with the other events we attend such as the Ipswich Festival, Twilight Parade, demonstrations and other car shows there is heaps of fun car activities and socialising for club members.

We again would like to encourage as many members as possible to come along in their classic or plastic cars and join in. Many cruises are completely FREE but others where the club provides food, a nominal fee may apply.
