CLASSIC CAR CONCESSIONAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The club has approx - 80 special interest vehicles owned by
members. The majority have a special restricted form of
registration, which allows the owner to drive these cars on specific
occasions, such as club runs, car shows & charity displays.
Because the use of the vehicle is restricted, it comes with lower
registration, third party & insurance fees. In some cases as
much as 1/6th of the full fee.

To obtain this type of registration, the car has to be 30
years or older, the owner has to be a club member and a declaration
form from the dating officer must be provided to the Transport
Dept. Just Rock Ipswich is in the enviable position of being a
combined Rock 'n' Roll and Classic Car Club.
As
Rock 'n' Roll and classic cars were a perfect partnership of the
50's & 60's,establishing JRI as a dance and classic car club was
an ideal combination.
To
be entitled to classic car registration through JRI it is expected
that you become and continue to be a JRI Club member and actively
participate in club dances and car cruises.
So as an active JRI member, if you have plans to acquire a classic car or change your rego, see the dating officer, John Strybos for Information
JRI is covered by Public Liability Insurance for all dance
lessons, dances and dance activities. Members participating in any
car events, ie car cruises, shows etc, need to be aware that the
public liability insurance does not extend to any car events that it
conducts.
